From mt-el@marginalia.org Fri May 2 22:46:05 2003 From: mt-el@marginalia.org (mike castleman) Date: Fri, 2 May 2003 17:46:05 -0400 Subject: [mt-el] weird error message Message-ID: <20030502214605.GF9777@pinetree.mlcastle.net> -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 so, I like the idea of mt.el, but I'm getting an weird error message. Whenever I do ^C w g or ^C w c, things seem to proceed okay -- the SOAP request goes along, and seems to work -- but instead of getting a new buffer or anything useful, I get the error message: setq: Wrong type argument: sequencep, 1 ^C w r works fine, though, but it is perhaps not the most useful of the commands offered by the package. I'm running GNU Emacs 21.2.1, from Debian, with the following packages installed: * w3-url-e21 * w3-el-e21 * elib plus whatever I had around before all this started. I downloaded mt.el and xml-rpc.el as suggested. Any thoughts on how to fix this would be much appreciated. thx, mike - -- mike castleman / m@mlcastle.net / http://mlcastle.net aolim: mlcastle / icq: 3520821 / yahoo: mlc000 "we have invented the technology to eliminate scarcity, but we are deliberately throwing it away to be benefit those who profit from scarcity....i think we should embrace the era of plenty, and work out how to mutually live in it." -- john gilmore -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+sucdrbXc6n5AevkRAhNsAKCBQuuyv3tkKBTyqf21SGKS7KOaAQCeK7IK MXsjmPtm6N4MvO7y+Y7FZ/Y= =SsyW -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- From mt-el@marginalia.org Tue May 6 11:05:01 2003 From: mt-el@marginalia.org (Stefan Tilkov) Date: Tue, 6 May 2003 12:05:01 +0200 Subject: [mt-el] Wrong type argument: sequencep, 1 Message-ID: This is a multipart message in MIME format. --=_alternative 00374F9FC1256D1E_= Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" mt.el seems to be exactly what I was looking for, but I can't use it due to the same problem Mike Castleman reported: Wrong type argument: sequencep, 1 This happens when I try to access an existing post or write a new one. mt.el seems to be exactly what I was looking for, but I can't use it due to the same problem Mike Castleman reported:

Wrong type argument: sequencep, 1

This happens when I try to access an existing post or write a new one. I can retrieve the list of posts, though.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
