[SPOCNE] Repairs @ auto chain stores?

The problem with chain stores is that their mechanics aren't always the most
experienced. Most are just getting started in the business, so if/when
something goes wrong, they might not know how to fix it. On several
occasions I've had cars towed in because the guy at a chain store couldn't
fix what was going on. Things that you would think a mechanic can fix, like
rounded and frozen bolts. This isn't always the case though. I think maybe
they just don't want the liability.

This is just what I've seen, for the money it looks like you're saving it
might be worth it. I do know from experience that if those Rangers are
rusty that swaping struts can be a PITA, and maybe thats why the other
garage quoted so high...

Good luck,
Matt
