Mike,
Gary Brundrett here.  I had a fender replaced and the damaged parts repainted painted.   The paint on  the paint on the door peeled several months after the work was done off indicating no primer underneath.  I'm going back to the shop that did the work. What should have been done to make the paint adhere? There are other issues, like runs and panel refitting, but the peeling is the main issue.  As Bill has said it was not a good job.   The shop sent me a letter asking why I haven't been back to see them so I'm going to give them a second chance.
